Democrats take reins of Salt Lake County government

With the inauguration of Mayor Corroon to his second term and the swearing in of new county council members on January 5th, Democrats officially took the reins of Salt Lake County government.  Democrats now enjoy a 5-4 majority on the county council.  Councilman Joe Hatch will be serving as chair of the newly sworn in council.
