Help the Party prepare for caucus meetings  

The Utah Democratic Party is beginning to prepare for the 2008 caucus meetings to be held on Tuesday, March 25. These caucus meetings provide Utah Democrats an opportunity to come together in communities across the state and elect local county delegates and precinct officers prior to county conventions in April and the state convention scheduled for May.

Starting on Monday, Jan. 28, and through Friday, Feb. 8, we will need a number of volunteers to help us begin printing and assembling precinct packets. These packets will be distributed to county leaders in early March for use at the March 25 precinct caucus meetings.

We are asking people to volunteer for at least one, two-hour shift at some point during this period at state Party headquarters to help us get these packets put together. If you can help, or just want to learn more about this volunteer opportunity, please call (801) 328-1212, ext. 207.
