The Jefferson-Jackson Dinner is this Friday:  it is our biggest and most important fundraising event of the year.  If you have been waiting until the last minute, you are in luck!  We have just done a ticket count, and a few spaces are left.  To make a reservation, contact Lanta Rasmussen at ljmr@comcast.net or at 787-8987 (leave a message) before noon Friday.  Tickets are $40 per person and $20 per student. 
 
This not-to-be-missed event is at the Birch Creek Golf Club, 550 E 100 N, Smithfield.   The evening will start at 6:00 PM with a social hour and silent auction.   This will give you the opportunity to mingle with fellow Democrats and our candidates for U.S., State, and County offices.  It also gives you a chance to view the many and great items in the silent auction, to participate in the opportunity drawings, and to buy Democratic paraphernalia.
 

This will be followed by lively political discourse to go along with a sumptuous five-course dinner catered by Culinary Concepts.  The featured speakers are

 
Wayne Holland , Chair of the Utah Democratic Party
Steve Olsen, our candidate for the US Congress
Pete Ashdown, our candidate for the US Senate.

 After the speeches, Val Grant will conduct a live auction for some absolutely wonderful items.
