(9th and M St. on the Avenues) to meet and hear our state and federal legislative candidates: Ralph Becker, Scott McCoy, Pete Ashdown, and Jim Matheson (Congressional schedule permitting). Sponsored by precinct 2184 with support from the S.L. County Democratic Party.

ALSO, Essay writing contest: $50 prize for the best in each age group (under 18, 18-30, over 30) on the topic "Why You Should Vote for Democrats This Year." Limit: 250 words. Deadline: 9/25/06.
