SALT LAKE CITY - Democratic Leader Ralph Becker (D-SLC), Democratic Whip Rep. Brad King (D-Price), Assistant Whip Carol Spackman Moss (D-Holladay), and Caucus Manager David Litvack (D-SLC) will hold a Press Briefing to discuss:

●       Transportation & Infrastructure Expenditures:  “Although our Transportation needs are great, taking more money from pressing ongoing funds is not the solution.” (Rep. Brad King)

●       Spending Caps - “We need to make sure we adequately fund all of the State’s growth, both in Transportation and infrastructure as well as basic needs in Medicaid and Education before we set arbitrary ceilings on all spending.”  (Rep. Ralph Becker)

●       HB 332 - Mobile Home Owners Rights - “This legislation will give mobile home owners an avenue to apply for help in relocating because of the redevelopment and gives developers a way to voluntarily help with that relocation.”  (Rep. Phil Riesen)

●       HB 329 - Deferred Deposit Loans:  “We have been contacted by many constituents regarding this issue.  When Congress took action on this for military personnel, it piqued our interest and our desire to do something.”  (Rep. Lou Shurtliff)

●       and other items of interest in the Utah Legislature.
