Democratic Campaign Interns Needed!
Utah Field Associates is seeking campaign interns for policy research and basic campaign preparation and activities. Interns will work with experienced campaign professionals and consultants to prepare Democratic regional and statewide candidates for the 2010 election cycle. Internships range from 10 – 40 hours/week. Hours can be flexible and will try to accommodate other work and school schedules.
Policy, Research, and Communication Internship
- Research and Prepare Briefings on Statewide Political Issues
- Brief Candidates and Elected Officials
- Develop Talking Points and Communications based on issue papers
- Coordinated Rapid Response and Fact Correction for Democrats
Field & Campaign Internship
- Manage and coordinate volunteers
- Contact potential event hosts and research neighborhood activities
- Coordinateevents and activities on behalf of campaigns
- Maintain relationships with activities and volunteers
- Assist with data management and upkeep
- Act as “body person” for candidates at events and rallies
